Coursensu ("we," "us," or "our") provides an online platform for designing, managing, and exporting educational content and learning experiences, including integrations with third-party learning management systems (LMS) and content export formats (“Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
You agree that by accessing our Service, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICE AND MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
Some features of the Services involve integration with third-party platforms, including but not limited to LMSs such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard and Brightspace. Certain LMS integrations require a separately purchased add-on.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of these integrations complies with the terms and policies of those third-party platforms.
Coursensu will only read or write data to connected systems as necessary to provide the Services and will not make changes outside the scope of your explicit permissions.
Some features of Coursensu may generate content, suggestions, or recommendations using artificial intelligence (“AI”). These features are provided for support purposes only.
The content, features, and functionality of the Services are owned by Coursensu and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Users retain ownership of their intellectual property (“IP”) in all content created within their accounts, except where explicitly published as public templates.
Coursensu will only use customer IP to provide the Services to that specific customer and will not share IP between customers.
Organisation administrators have the capability to remove any user-generated content from any account within their organisation.
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and Conditions.
You agree not to engage in any prohibited activities, including but not limited to unauthorised access to our systems, data scraping, and violating third-party rights.
Users may contribute content to the Services (“User Generated Contributions”).
By submitting such content as a public, shared template, you grant Coursensu a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, publish, display, and distribute your Contributions.
When you contribute content to your own designs and those within your team, you retain ownership. You grant Coursensu a limited, perpetual, worldwide license strictly for the purpose of using, displaying, and distributing your Contributions within the context of providing the Services.
Coursensu grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Services. This license does not permit resale or sharing of your license with others. Each user must register their own account.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Services at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.
These Terms and Conditions are effective until terminated by either party. You may terminate by ceasing to use the Service and/or deleting your account.
We may terminate or suspend your access for any reason at our discretion but will communicate this reason to you and provide an opportunity to resolve issues before escalation.
We reserve the right to change, modify, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, including the availability of any features, without notice or liability.
Coursensu subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis for Learning Designer or Course Companion accounts.
Add-ons may include Content Editor and LMS integration.
Subscriptions are subject to auto-renewal unless cancelled.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
If you access the Services from outside the UK, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, expressed or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free or uninterrupted.
In no event shall Coursensu be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.
You agree to indemnify and hold Coursensu, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses.
